1. Acceptance of these terms
By browsing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site or place an order. These terms apply in addition to any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, which we do not exclude.
2. Who we are
DesignerGlassesCo is an independent retailer of designer eyeglasses, sunglasses and optical frames. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any original equipment manufacturer.
Manufacturer names, model numbers, part numbers and trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used solely to identify the frames, model numbers and colour codes we offer for sale. Their use does not imply any connection between DesignerGlassesCo and the trademark owner.
3. Use of this site
You may use this site for lawful, personal or business purchasing purposes. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or republish site content for commercial use without written permission;
- attempt to interfere with the operation, security or availability of the site;
- place orders using false contact details or a payment method you are not authorised to use.
4. Product information
Specifications are taken from manufacturer data and our own measurements. Frame dimensions are provided as a guide, not as a guarantee: lens width, bridge width and temple length vary by size within a model range, and colours can render differently between screens. Confirm the measurements against a frame that already fits you, and have any prescription lenses fitted by a licensed optician.
Photographs are representative. Where a manufacturer changes a part number for an identical component, the listing may show the superseding number. If an item you receive does not match the description, contact us and we will resolve it.
5. Pricing and availability
All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where required.
Prices and availability can change without notice. If an item is mispriced, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than supply the item at the incorrect price. We will contact you before doing so. Occasional typographical errors in price or description do not constitute a binding offer.
6. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. Until then we may decline or cancel an order — for example if the item is out of stock, if we cannot verify payment, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, any amount already charged is refunded in full.
7. Payment
Payment is taken at the time of order. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers. If a payment is declined or later reversed, we may suspend or cancel the associated order.
8. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery times, return conditions and the refund process are set out on our Returns & Shipping page, which forms part of these terms. The standard return window is 30 days from delivery for eligible items.
9. Warranty and limitation of liability
Parts are supplied with the manufacturer warranty where one is offered, passed through to you as-is. We do not add a separate warranty of our own.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, downtime or the cost of third-party labour. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Prescription lenses, fit and safe use
Frames supplied by this site are sold as frames unless the listing states that lenses are included. Prescription lenses must be measured, made and fitted by a licensed optician; we do not supply prescription lenses and are not responsible for lenses fitted by a third party, for the accuracy of a prescription, or for frame adjustments carried out elsewhere. Sunglasses sold here provide ordinary sun protection and are not a substitute for certified safety eyewear in occupational settings. Do not drive, operate machinery or look directly at the sun while wearing non-certified tinted lenses.
11. Intellectual property
The layout, text and original photography on this site belong to DesignerGlassesCo and may not be reproduced commercially without permission. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their owners and are used descriptively to identify compatible equipment.
12. Third-party links
Where we link to external sites — for example a manufacturer's manual or specification sheet — we do not control that content and are not responsible for it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which DesignerGlassesCo is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection available to you in your own jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version was published.
