Cass pairs a clean rectangle front with full rim construction in cellulose acetate. Sizing works for either face. The 56-17-135 figures put the lens at 56 mm with a 17 mm bridge and 135 mm arms. Angular corners give a rounder face a firmer edge.
The front is framed all the way around. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate takes colour through the material rather than on top of it.
