The R231 is a full rim squared frame in stainless steel. The fit is unisex. At 56-16-145, the lens measures 56 mm, the bridge 16 mm and the temples 145 mm. Straight edges keep the face reading angular. A full rim holds the lens on all four sides.
The bridge is one clean line at the center. A metal front reads lighter than a plastic one at the same width.
