The Stetson S178 Eyeglasses bring classic American style to your everyday prescription eyewear. Built with a full-rim stainless steel frame and a distinctive double-bridge aviator design, these frames balance vintage appeal with modern durability. Available in three versatile finishes—gunmetal, shiny black, and gold—the S178 adapts to both professional and casual settings.
Stainless steel construction keeps the S178 lightweight without sacrificing strength. The metal resists corrosion and holds its shape through daily use, while adjustable nose pads let you dial in a secure, personalized fit. The skull temples curve gently behind the ears with textured tips for stability and comfort during long wear sessions. Two size options (54mm and 57mm eye width) accommodate different face shapes and prescription needs.
The square-aviator lens shape provides generous vertical depth, making the S178 well-suited for single-vision, bifocal, and progressive prescriptions. The double bridge adds structural support for thicker lenses while creating the navigator silhouette that’s been a men’s eyewear staple for decades. Stetson has built its reputation on masculine, all-American designs since 1982, and the S178 reflects that heritage—practical frames for the business professional, the tradesman, and everyone in between.
These frames ship prescription-ready. Add your Rx during checkout and choose from a full range of lens options including high-index materials, anti-reflective coatings, and progressive designs. The full-rim construction secures your lenses and delivers the complete, polished look that makes metal eyeglasses a reliable choice year after year.
