The Franklin Sun is a full-rim square frame in acetate. The bridge and temple lengths are set for men. At 53-20-145, the lens measures 53 mm, the bridge 20 mm and the temples 145 mm. Straight edges keep the face reading angular.
A full rim holds the lens on all four sides. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate takes colour through the material rather than on top of it. The pair is built as a sunglass rather than a clear lens frame.
