The Rocky’s frame is molded from Grilamid, a Swiss-engineered thermoplastic from the nylon family known for extreme durability in sports eyewear. This material is exceptionally lightweight yet flexible enough to resist cracking under stress, impact, or temperature extremes. It won’t break down from sweat, sunscreen, or UV exposure the way standard plastic frames do. The 8×4-base polycarbonate ARC toric lenses provide optical clarity with a wraparound curve that shields your eyes from peripheral light and wind.
Comfort details include Hytrel rubber nose pads and temple tips that grip securely without pressure points, even during extended wear.
