Built as a full-rim teardrop pilot shape, the SP SP4038 uses stainless steel. The fit is cut for adult men. The 56-16-145 figures put the lens at 56 mm with a 16 mm bridge and 145 mm arms. The teardrop drops toward the cheek and narrows the lower face.
The front is framed all the way around. The double bridge leaves a gap between the bars. A metal front reads lighter than a plastic one at the same width. Finish: Navy (colour code 414), blue frame.
