Built as a full rim upswept cat-eye shape, the Sophia Loren 1559 uses cellulose acetate. Bridge and temples are set for women. The 54-15-135 figures put the lens at 54 mm with a 15 mm bridge and 135 mm arms. Lifted temples add height at the cheekbone.
The rim closes fully around the lens. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight. The colourway is Natural (colour code 003).
