The Ray-Ban Kids Leonard Jr 0RY9093V Eyeglasses bring the brand’s iconic design DNA to a square frame built specifically for younger faces. These prescription-ready frames feature full-rim acetate construction in a range of colors—from classic havana tortoise and solid black to transparent blue, pink, and clear—so kids can find a look they’ll actually want to wear.
Acetate is a smart choice for children’s eyewear. Unlike standard injection-molded plastic, acetate frames are more flexible and resistant to pressure, meaning they can bend further before breaking. The material is also lightweight and hypoallergenic, reducing irritation during all-day wear at school, sports, and play. Ray-Ban constructs these frames from layered cellulose acetate sheets that are cut, formed, and polished for strength and a smooth finish.
The Leonard Jr features a single-bridge design and 130mm temples, available in two lens widths: 43mm and 45mm. The square shape suits a variety of face shapes and offers good coverage without feeling oversized. Signature Ray-Ban logo detailing appears on the temples. These frames ship with demo lenses that your optician replaces with your child’s prescription—single vision, progressive, or specialty lenses all fit securely in the full-rim design.
Parents appreciate Ray-Ban Junior frames for their durability and the brand’s long-standing reputation for quality. Kids like having a recognizable name that mirrors what the adults wear. The Leonard Jr strikes a practical balance: sturdy enough for everyday handling, stylish enough that children don’t resist wearing them, and compatible with the full range of lens options and coatings your eye care professional recommends.
