The Persol 3007VM eyeglasses bring Italian craftsmanship and modern comfort together in a square frame that works for everyday wear. Handmade in Italy from premium acetate, these prescription-ready frames feature a keyhole bridge and clean lines that add structure without looking heavy.
The 3007VM updates the classic 3007V design with integrated flex hinges—a modern alternative to Persol’s traditional Meflecto system. These spring-loaded hinges let the temples adapt to different head shapes and reduce pressure during extended wear. The acetate construction keeps the frames lightweight, and the 19mm bridge with keyhole cutout sits comfortably on most nose shapes. Available in 50mm and 52mm lens widths with a 145mm temple length, the frame fits small to medium faces.
Persol—from the Italian “per il sole” (for the sun)—has been making eyewear in Turin since 1917. Each frame is handcrafted in Lauriano, Italy, using premium cellulose acetate that’s durable and hypoallergenic. The iconic Silver Arrow hinge detail appears on the temples, a design inspired by ancient swords that’s been a Persol signature since the 1930s. The square shape with slightly rounded corners suits oval, round, and heart-shaped faces, and the full-rim design provides excellent lens security for prescription lenses.
These frames ship with demo lenses that your optician will replace with your prescription. The 3007VM accepts single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. Multiple acetate finishes are available, including classic Havana tortoise, solid black, and unique multi-color patterns. Each pair includes a Persol protective case and cleaning cloth.
