O Matter is Oakley’s patented nylon composite that’s 25% lighter than traditional acetate and significantly stronger. The material flexes under stress and returns to its original shape, making these frames ideal for kids who take their glasses on and off frequently or give the temples more flex than adults typically would. O Matter is also heat and cold resistant, preventing the frame from becoming brittle even when exposed to extreme temperatures—a real advantage for active kids moving between indoor and outdoor environments.
The full-rim rectangular design provides even coverage around the lens and can accommodate stronger prescriptions. The Field Marsh includes molded-in O Matter nose pads designed to fit the underdeveloped nose bridges of young people, ensuring a secure, comfortable fit throughout the day.
These frames come with demo lenses that are replaced with your child’s prescription lenses. The Field Marsh is fully prescription-ready and compatible with single-vision lenses, including impact-resistant polycarbonate and Trivex options recommended for children’s eyewear.
