Built as a full-rim rectangular shape, the MC MC4549 uses cellulose acetate. Sizing works for either face. Measured 53-17-145: 53 mm lens, 17 mm bridge, 145 mm temple. Angular corners give a rounder face a firmer edge. A full rim holds the lens on all four sides.
Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate takes colour through the material rather than on top of it. Finish: Tortoise (colour code 240).
