Built as a full rim rectangular shape, the MC MC4517 uses acetate. Sizing works for either face. The 57-15-145 figures put the lens at 57 mm with a 15 mm bridge and 145 mm arms. The straight top and bottom lines cut against a rounder face.
A full rim holds the lens on all four sides. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight. Finish: Black (colour code 001).
