Built as a full-rim clean rectangle shape, the JL50009 uses stainless steel. The fit is cut for adult men. The 57-17-145 figures put the lens at 57 mm with a 17 mm bridge and 145 mm arms. The straight top and bottom lines cut against a rounder face.
The front is framed all the way around. A single bar runs across the nose. Stainless steel keeps a thin profile along the rim. The colourway is Matte Gunmetal (colour code 009).
