Built as a full-rim rectangular shape, the GVX547 uses cellulose acetate. Sizing targets an adult male face. The 55-17-145 figures put the lens at 55 mm with a 17 mm bridge and 145 mm arms. Angular corners give a rounder face a firmer edge.
The front is framed all the way around. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. The material holds a polished edge and a defined front. Finish: Tortoise Matte (colour code TRTSMTT).
