The Goliath II Eyeglasses are bold, oversized square prescription frames that command attention. Part of the legendary Goliath collection inspired by the original Preciosa 940 design from 1970s Holland, these frames carry decades of cultural significance—from Robert De Niro’s iconic look in Casino to Elliott Gould in Ocean’s 11, and hip-hop legends like Run DMC.
The Goliath II features a generous 62mm lens width and thick, full-rim acetate construction that creates a commanding presence. The oversized square shape works particularly well for round and oval face shapes, adding structure and angularity. These aren’t subtle frames—they’re designed for people who want their eyewear to make a statement.
Available in nine distinctive colors including translucent red, shiny black, honey brown, crystal clear, smoke grey, navy blue, shiny green, dark tortoise, and matte black, the Goliath II offers options ranging from bold and vibrant to understated and classic. The thick temples curve gently inward for stability behind the ears, while the 150mm temple length and 20mm bridge provide a comfortable fit for larger faces.
These frames are prescription-ready and can accommodate single-vision, progressive, bifocal, and reading lenses. The large lens size provides ample space for progressive prescriptions and offers excellent coverage. The durable acetate construction stands up to daily wear while remaining lightweight enough for all-day comfort.
The Goliath II bridges vintage inspiration with modern functionality. If you’re looking for eyeglasses that combine authentic design heritage with practical, prescription-ready construction, these oversized square frames deliver both style and substance.
