The GEEK EYEWEAR LOOPER Eyeglasses bring a bold, unconventional look to prescription eyewear. These small round frames aren’t for everyone—and that’s exactly the point. With a compact 39mm lens width and a distinctive 27mm bridge, the LOOPER is designed for those who want eyewear that stands out from the crowd.
Each LOOPER frame is crafted from handmade acetate, a plant-based material derived from cotton and wood pulp. Unlike cheaper injection-molded plastics, acetate frames are cut from solid sheets and hand-polished to achieve depth and clarity in the tortoiseshell and solid color finishes. The material is naturally hypoallergenic, making it comfortable for all-day wear without skin irritation. Acetate also offers superior durability and flexibility compared to standard plastic, maintaining its shape and glossy finish over time.
The LOOPER features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward beyond the standard 90-degree angle. This provides a secure, comfortable fit that adapts to your head shape without pinching. Spring hinges also absorb stress when you accidentally sit on your glasses or catch them on clothing, significantly reducing the risk of broken frames. The 145mm temple length allows the glasses to sit high on the nose or lower, so you can adjust your wearing position throughout the day.
These frames work best for small to small-medium faces, with a total frame width of approximately 115mm. The round shape softens angular features and pairs especially well with square, heart, or diamond face shapes.
