The Flexon 635 Eyeglasses bring together minimalist style and serious durability in a half-rim oval frame designed for women. Built with Flexon’s memory metal technology in the bridge—a titanium-nickel alloy that bends, twists, and returns to its original shape—these frames handle the everyday accidents that would snap ordinary eyeglasses.
Flexon’s memory metal isn’t marketing talk. The brand uses NiTiNOL, a shape-memory alloy originally developed for NASA applications, in the bridge and temples of their frames. This material can flex far beyond what standard metal tolerates, then snap back into place without permanent deformation. If you sit on them, drop them, or your toddler grabs them, the 635 recovers.
The half-rim design—metal across the top, a thin nylon cord securing the bottom edge of the lens—cuts weight compared to full-rim frames while keeping the structure stable enough for prescription lenses. You get a clean, professional look that shows more of your face, and the lightweight metal construction means you can wear them all day without pressure marks on your nose or ears.
The Flexon 635 comes in two lens widths: 51mm and 53mm, both with an 18mm bridge. Temple lengths are 130mm for the smaller size and 135mm for the larger. The oval lens shape is one of the most versatile—it works with round, square, heart, and oval face shapes because it doesn’t add sharp angles or exaggerate curves.
Adjustable nose pads let you fine-tune the fit. The pads can be moved inward to raise the frames or outward to lower them, and because the frame is metal, an optician can dial in the temple curve to match your head width.
These frames accept single-vision, progressive, and bifocal prescription lenses. The half-rim construction supports moderate to strong prescriptions, though if you have a very high prescription, a full-rim frame may hide lens edges better. The 635 is designed for everyday wear—office work, errands, reading—and the memory metal means it survives being tossed in a bag or left on a nightstand.
Available in four colors: Coffee (warm brown metal with matching temple tips), Camel Blush (rose gold metal with golden-yellow temple tips), Soft Satin Purple (muted purple-grey metal), and Rose.
