Built as a full-rim clean rectangle shape, the FE40204I uses cellulose acetate. Nothing in the sizing is gender-specific. The 54-18-140 figures put the lens at 54 mm with an 18 mm bridge and 140 mm arms. Angular corners give a rounder face a firmer edge.
A full rim holds the lens on all four sides. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight. The pair is built as a sunglass rather than a clear lens frame.
