Built as a full rim squared shape, the 183 uses cellulose acetate. Sizing works for either face. The 53-16-135 figures put the lens at 53 mm with a 16 mm bridge and 135 mm arms. The squared corners mirror a strong jaw without softening it.
A full rim holds the lens on all four sides. A single bar runs across the nose. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight. The colourway is BLUE MARBLED – S (colour code 124).
