The EL-498 is a full-rim clean rectangle frame in acetate. The bridge and temple lengths are set for men. The 47-15-125 figures put the lens at 47 mm with a 15 mm bridge and 125 mm arms. Angular corners give a rounder face a firmer edge.
The rim closes fully around the lens. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight. The colourway is Teal (colour code 3).
