Built as a full-rim round shape, the EC709 uses cellulose acetate. Sizing targets an adult male face. At 51-18-135, the lens measures 51 mm, the bridge 18 mm and the temples 135 mm. The circle keeps the frame reading light on the face.
The rim closes fully around the lens. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. The material holds a polished edge and a defined front. The colourway is Purple & Multicolor Stripes (colour code 80).
