The Easyclip EC455 Eyeglasses combine prescription-ready metal frames with a matching magnetic clip-on system that transforms your eyewear into sunglasses in seconds. Built on Aspex Eyewear’s patented magnetic technology, these rectangular frames use high-powered neodymium magnets embedded in the frame—magnets that deliver ten times the holding strength of standard ferrous magnets for a secure, wobble-free fit during daily wear.
The full-rim frame is made from lightweight stainless steel, a material prized for its durability, corrosion resistance, and hypoallergenic properties. The rectangular lens shape offers broad coverage and suits a wide range of face shapes, while the textured temple detailing adds visual interest. Available in three sophisticated colorways—Satin Burgundy & Grey, Satin Brown & Light Purple, and Satin Dark Brown & Light Pink—each frame includes a matching polarized magnetic clip-on that snaps into place instantly.
Unlike photochromic (Transitions) lenses that require UV exposure to darken, magnetic clip-ons work anywhere—including inside your car, where windshields block the UV rays needed to activate light-reactive lenses. You get instant sun protection the moment you step outside, and you control exactly when you want the tinted look. The clip-on provides UV protection and polarization to reduce glare, making these frames ideal for driving, outdoor activities, and quick transitions between indoor and outdoor environments.
The EC455 accepts single vision, progressive, and reading prescriptions. The stainless steel construction resists everyday wear, and the single-bridge design ensures a stable fit. Each frame ships with its custom-fitted magnetic clip-on, a protective case, and a cleaning cloth. The clip attaches and removes with one hand, stores flat in the included case, and weighs almost nothing when attached—most wearers report the clip feels as light as wearing the frame alone.
If you’re tired of juggling multiple pairs of glasses or waiting for photochromic lenses to adjust, the Easyclip EC455 offers a practical, budget-friendly alternative that works the moment you need it.
