The Chloe CH0278S Aly sunglasses mark a new chapter for the Parisian house — the first eyewear design launched under Creative Director Chemena Kamali in 2024. This oversized square aviator blends retro inspiration with modern femininity, a signature of Kamali’s vision for Chloé.
The CH0278S features a double bridge design in shiny gold-tone stainless steel, giving the frame architectural presence without weight. The oversized square lenses (62mm width) offer generous coverage and a bold, fashion-forward silhouette that flatters a range of face shapes. Each lens carries a laser-engraved Chloé logo on the left side — a subtle mark of authenticity. The triple gradient lenses transition through rich color palettes (brown/grey/khaki in the 001, green gradients in the 002, and red/pink tones in the 003), made from bio-based nylon that’s both lightweight and impact-resistant.
Adjustable nose pads ensure a custom fit, while the acetate temple tips feature Chloé’s iconic teardrop-shaped openings. The 140mm temples provide a secure, comfortable fit for extended wear.
The CH0278S offers 100% UVA and UVB protection, blocking harmful rays up to 400 nanometers. The gradient lenses (Filter Category 1-2 depending on variant) are darker at the top and lighter at the bottom, making them ideal for driving and urban wear — you get sun protection overhead while maintaining clear visibility for reading or checking your phone. Each pair ships with a Chloé hard case, cleaning cloth, and authenticity card.
