The Thomas is a full-rim clean rectangle frame in cellulose acetate. Sizing targets an adult male face. At 55-19-140, the lens measures 55 mm, the bridge 19 mm and the temples 140 mm. The straight top and bottom lines cut against a rounder face.
The rim closes fully around the lens. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate takes colour through the material rather than on top of it.
