Built as a full-rim clean rectangle shape, the AS554AS uses cellulose acetate. The fit is cut for adult women. At 54-17-140, the lens measures 54 mm, the bridge 17 mm and the temples 140 mm. Angular corners give a rounder face a firmer edge.
The rim closes fully around the lens. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight. The pair is built as a sunglass rather than a clear lens frame. Finish: PURPLE (colour code 731).
