The Chesterfield 66XL Eyeglasses are men’s prescription frames designed for larger faces that need more than standard sizing. Built from durable acetate in a clean rectangle shape, these full-rim frames come in three color options—Black Crystal, Brown Crystal, and Blue Crystal—each featuring a gradient fade from darker at the top to translucent at the bottom.
Available in two sizes (56mm and 58mm lens width), the 66XL is part of Chesterfield’s extended-fit collection. The 58-17-150 size offers a 58mm lens width, 17mm bridge, and 150mm temple length—measurements that matter if you’ve struggled with frames that pinch at the temples or slide forward. The full-rim acetate construction provides the structural support needed to hold prescription lenses securely, including stronger prescriptions where the frame edge helps conceal lens thickness.
Chesterfield frames are produced by Safilo Group, the Italian eyewear manufacturer founded in 1934 and known for combining traditional craftsmanship with modern production. Safilo’s acetate frames are cut from solid acetate sheets and go through multiple polishing and finishing steps. The result is a smooth, hypoallergenic frame that’s lightweight, flexible, and adjustable—acetate can be gently heated and shaped by an optician for a custom fit.
These frames accept single-vision, progressive, and bifocal prescription lenses. The rectangle shape works particularly well for oval and round face shapes, adding definition and structure.
