The SP SP4016 is a half-rim rectangular frame in acetate. The bridge and temple lengths are set for men. The 55-16-135 figures put the lens at 55 mm with a 16 mm bridge and 135 mm arms. The straight top and bottom lines cut against a rounder face.
The rim runs along the top half and leaves the lower lens open. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight. The colourway is Tortoise (colour code 215).
