The Ray-Ban 6494 eyeglasses bring a modern edge to prescription eyewear with their distinctive pillow-shaped frames and two-tone metal construction. These full-rim frames feature a refined browline design where the colored upper rim meets sleek metal accents below, creating visual interest without overwhelming your face. Available in multiple color combinations including blue on silver, bordeaux on gold, and black on silver, the RB6494 offers options for both understated and bolder personal styles.
Made entirely of metal in both the front and temples, the RB6494 frames are built from stainless steel that ensures durability over time while maintaining a light weight ideal for everyday use. Stainless steel resists corrosion and rust, making it a long-lasting choice for eyeglasses, and despite its strength, it’s surprisingly lightweight, reducing pressure on the nose and ears. The thin temples and subtly designed bridge keep the overall look clean and minimal, comfortable even after hours of wear.
The pillow shape is a soft variation of the classic rectangle with slightly rounded corners, combining modern lines and visual comfort while naturally adapting to both male and female faces. Adjustable nose pads ensure personalized comfort, letting you dial in the perfect fit for your unique nose bridge.
These frames are prescription-ready and compatible with single vision, progressive, and bifocal lenses. The full-rim design provides excellent lens support and durability, making them a practical choice for daily wear. Ray-Ban’s attention to detail shows in the smooth finish, integrated spring hinges for flexibility, and the subtle logo etching on the temples.
