The McAllister MC4509 Eyeglasses bring classic aviator style to your everyday prescription eyewear. This full-rim pilot frame features a distinctive double-bridge design in lightweight stainless steel, available in three refined finishes: gold, silver, and rose gold. The 56mm lens width and 17mm bridge (56-17-140) deliver a comfortable medium-large fit that works well for both men and women.
Built from durable stainless steel, the MC4509 combines the sleek lines of traditional aviator frames with practical features for all-day wear. Adjustable silicone nose pads let you customize the fit to your face, preventing slipping and reducing pressure on the bridge—especially helpful if you wear your glasses from morning to night. Spring hinges at the temples add flex and forgiveness, so the frame adapts to your head shape without feeling tight.
The rounded aviator lens shape offers generous vertical height, making these frames a solid choice for progressive or bifocal prescriptions. The double-bridge construction adds structural stability while creating the signature pilot look that’s been in style since the 1930s. McAllister honors the legacy of John McAllister, who opened America’s first optical shop in Philadelphia in 1799, blending that centuries-old heritage with modern materials and gender-neutral styling.
These frames are prescription-ready and ship with demo lenses. Add your single-vision, progressive, or blue-light-blocking lenses during checkout. The full-rim metal design holds lenses securely and works with a wide range of prescription strengths. Whether you’re looking for professional office eyewear or versatile everyday frames, the MC4509 delivers comfort, durability, and that unmistakable aviator confidence.
