The Ray-Ban Kids 0RY1598 eyeglasses bring authentic Ray-Ban style to young wearers with a square frame design built for tweens and teens. These prescription-ready frames combine the brand’s iconic look with kid-friendly durability, making them a practical choice for school, sports, and everyday wear.
Built from lightweight acetate, the RY1598 frames offer all-day comfort without the weight that can cause kids to constantly adjust their glasses. The acetate construction is hypoallergenic and BPA-free, safe for sensitive skin and gentle on growing noses and ears. The full-rim design provides solid lens protection, while the single-bridge structure keeps the look clean and modern. You’ll find the signature Ray-Ban logo embossed on the right temple—a detail kids notice.
Available in six colors including matte black, transparent grey, transparent blue, transparent red, and transparent violet, the RY1598 offers options that let kids express their personality. The transparent finishes are particularly popular, giving a contemporary look that works with any outfit. Two sizes are available: 47mm and 49mm lens width, both with a 16mm bridge and 130mm temples, fitting most children ages 8-13 depending on face size.
These frames are fully prescription-ready and compatible with single-vision lenses for nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism. Parents appreciate that the frames hold up well to daily handling—acetate resists minor drops and the typical wear that comes with active kids. While not designed for contact sports, the RY1598 handles playground activity, classroom use, and after-school routines without issue. Each pair ships with a Ray-Ban case and cleaning cloth for proper storage and maintenance.
