The CONVERSE CV5027Y Eyeglasses bring the same energy and durability that made Converse an icon to kids’ prescription eyewear. Built for boys who don’t sit still, these full-rim square frames combine lightweight acetate construction with bold, sporty style that stands up to school days, playground time, and everything in between.
The CV5027Y features a sturdy acetate frame that’s both flexible and impact-resistant—important qualities when glasses need to survive backpacks, sports, and daily wear. Acetate is naturally hypoallergenic and won’t irritate sensitive skin, plus it holds its shape over time better than cheaper plastic alternatives. The 51mm lens width and 17mm bridge fit most boys comfortably, while the 140mm temples provide secure, all-day wear without pinching.
What sets this frame apart is the color-blocked temple design. The brown front pairs with vibrant blue temples in one variant, while the crystal clear option features eye-catching red striped temples—details that let kids express personality while parents appreciate the quality. The Converse star logo sits prominently on each temple, connecting these frames to the brand’s athletic heritage.
These frames accept single-vision prescription lenses for nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism. The full-rim design protects lens edges and accommodates a range of prescription strengths. Parents can add blue light filtering for screen time or transition lenses for indoor-outdoor versatility. At this price point, the CV5027Y delivers authentic designer quality without the premium markup—a smart choice for growing kids who may need new frames as their prescription changes.
