Via Spiga Alfonsia pairs a square front with full-rim construction in cellulose acetate. Bridge and temples are set for women. At 50-16-135, the lens measures 50 mm, the bridge 16 mm and the temples 135 mm. Straight edges keep the face reading angular.
A full rim holds the lens on all four sides. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight.
