The VWG VA55 is a full rim rectangular frame in cellulose acetate. Bridge and temples are set for women. The 54-16-135 figures put the lens at 54 mm with a 16 mm bridge and 135 mm arms. Angular corners give a rounder face a firmer edge.
The front is framed all the way around. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight.
