The R566 is a full rim clean rectangle frame in stainless steel. Nothing in the sizing is gender-specific. The 52-17-135 figures put the lens at 52 mm with a 17 mm bridge and 135 mm arms. The straight top and bottom lines cut against a rounder face.
A full rim holds the lens on all four sides. The bridge is one clean line at the center. The wire rim holds the lens with less material around it.
