Built as a full rim squared shape, the VTU517 uses acetate. The fit is cut for adult women. The 52-16-140 figures put the lens at 52 mm with a 16 mm bridge and 140 mm arms. Straight edges keep the face reading angular. A full rim holds the lens on all four sides.
The bridge is one clean line at the center. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight.
