The M998 is a full-rim rectangular frame in stainless steel. Nothing in the sizing is gender-specific. The 51-18-135 figures put the lens at 51 mm with an 18 mm bridge and 135 mm arms. Horizontal lines across the brow read as width on a narrow face.
The rim closes fully around the lens. A single bar runs across the nose. The wire rim holds the lens with less material around it.
