The defining feature of the 4D Mag XL is BirdsEye Vision—a spherical lens that curves downward and inward at the bottom edge, extending below the frame. This design increases your overall field of view by 25% compared to Smith’s I/O Mag goggles, particularly improving downward and peripheral visibility. You’ll spot terrain changes, wind lips, and other riders in your periphery that you’d miss with standard goggles. The curved lens wraps around your face to minimize frame intrusion, so you see more mountain and less goggle.
Smith’s ChromaPop lens technology filters the specific wavelengths where blue crosses into green and red crosses into green—the points where your eyes struggle to distinguish color.
