The PLASTICS I MUTUAL Eyeglasses deliver a clean, professional look at an accessible price. These unisex rectangle frames feature full-rim acetate construction in three matte finishes—Black, Tortoise, and Burgundy—each offering a modern, understated aesthetic that works equally well in the office or on the weekend.
The frames are made from cellulose acetate, a plant-derived material known for its durability and flexibility. Unlike basic injection-molded plastic, acetate is hypoallergenic and comfortable for all-day wear, making it suitable for sensitive skin. The full-rim design provides maximum stability for your prescription lenses, while the matte finish resists fingerprints and gives the frames a refined, non-reflective appearance.
At 53mm lens width, 18mm bridge, and 140mm temple length, the MUTUAL fits most face shapes. The rectangle shape works particularly well for round faces, adding definition and balancing softer features. The single-bridge design and skull temples (which curve behind the ears) ensure a secure, adjustable fit.
These frames are prescription-ready and compatible with single-vision, progressive, and bifocal lenses. You can add anti-reflective coatings, blue light filtering, or transition lenses to customize them for your needs. Each pair includes a matching protective case and microfiber cleaning cloth.
Manufactured by Modern Optical, the PLASTICS I line is designed for everyday reliability. The frames are backed by a one-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. With proper care—regular cleaning with mild soap and water, avoiding extreme heat, and storing in the included case—acetate frames can maintain their shape and color for years.
