Built as a full rim circular shape, the FT1277D uses acetate. The bridge and temple lengths are set for men. The 50-20-145 figures put the lens at 50 mm with a 20 mm bridge and 145 mm arms. Circular lenses soften an angular face.
The front is framed all the way around. Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. Acetate can be worked into a thicker front without adding visual weight. The pair is built as a sunglass rather than a clear lens frame.
