The PLASTICS II ENDORSE Eyeglasses deliver practical, everyday eyewear at a price that makes sense. Manufactured by Modern Optical, these full-rim acetate frames feature a classic square shape that works well on round and oval face shapes, adding structure and definition to softer features.
The frame is built with French Comotech spring hinges—a feature that sets these apart from basic budget frames. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward beyond the standard range, reducing pressure on your head and making the frames more resistant to accidental damage. They’re a smart choice if you’re hard on glasses or simply want a more forgiving fit throughout the day.
Available in three color options—Black/Wine, Blue Demi, and Black/Crystal—the ENDORSE offers a two-tone look with contrasting inner and outer colors visible in the photos. The acetate material is hypoallergenic, lightweight, and more durable than standard injection-molded plastic, with colors embedded throughout the material rather than painted on.
These frames are prescription-ready and compatible with single-vision, progressive, bifocal, and reading lenses. The full-rim design provides a secure hold for lenses of varying thicknesses, making them suitable for a range of prescription strengths. The single-bridge construction and 53-18-140 sizing (53mm lens width, 18mm bridge, 140mm temple length) offer a medium fit for most adult men.
Modern Optical’s PLASTICS II collection is designed specifically for value-conscious shoppers and insurance programs, balancing quality construction with accessible pricing. If you need reliable everyday frames without the designer markup, the ENDORSE delivers the essentials: durable acetate, functional spring hinges, and a versatile square silhouette.
