Unlike injection-molded plastic frames, the EMERY is made from cellulose acetate—a plant-based material derived from cotton and wood fibers. Acetate frames are more flexible and resistant to breakage than conventional plastic, bending under pressure rather than snapping. The material is naturally hypoallergenic, making it comfortable for extended wear even if you have sensitive skin. Available in three matte finishes—Navy, Black, and Grey—the color is integrated into the acetate itself rather than painted on, so it won’t fade or chip over time.
The EMERY features a square lens shape with a 55mm eye size, 17mm bridge, and 140mm temples (total width 140mm).
