The MODERN KEVIN Eyeglasses bring classic navigator styling to your everyday eyewear at a price that makes sense. These full-rim metal frames feature a distinctive double-bridge design and square-aviator silhouette that’s been popular since the 1970s—a bold, modern alternative to traditional teardrop aviators.
Spring hinges are the standout feature here. Unlike rigid hinges that can pinch or snap under pressure, these flex outward when you put the glasses on or take them off, reducing stress on the frame. That flexibility means less breakage and a more forgiving fit, especially if you have a wider face or tend to be rough on your glasses. The temples adjust easily behind your ears, and the saddle bridge with adjustable nose pads helps you dial in a secure, comfortable position.
Available in three finishes—Antique Silver, Gold, and Matte Brown—and four sizes (54mm, 56mm, 58mm, and 60mm eye width), the KEVIN accommodates a wide range of faces and prescriptions. The larger lens height makes these frames a smart choice if you’re considering progressive lenses or need extra vertical space for multifocal zones.
Modern Optical has been making affordable eyewear since 1974, and the KEVIN is a great example of their approach: quality materials, functional design, and a price that won’t empty your wallet. These frames are prescription-ready and work with single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The full-rim construction provides maximum lens stability and durability, so your lenses stay secure even with higher prescriptions or thinner lens materials.
If you’re looking for dependable everyday frames that won’t break the bank—or break when you accidentally sit on them—the MODERN KEVIN delivers exactly that.
