Built as a full rim rectangular shape, the L2283 uses stainless steel. Sizing targets an adult male face. Lens and bridge measure 53-18 mm. The straight top and bottom lines cut against a rounder face. The rim closes fully around the lens.
Nothing extra crosses the top of the front. A metal front reads lighter than a plastic one at the same width. The colourway is Matte Blue (colour code 401).
