The Ray-Ban Kids 0RY1587 Eyeglasses bring Ray-Ban’s signature quality to frames designed specifically for young children. Built with a rounded oval shape and full-rim acetate construction, these prescription-ready frames balance durability with all-day comfort for kids aged 4-6.
Acetate is the go-to material for children’s eyewear, and for good reason. It’s lightweight enough that kids forget they’re wearing glasses, hypoallergenic for sensitive skin, and tough enough to handle drops, twists, and the general chaos of childhood. The RY1587 features a saddle bridge that distributes weight evenly across the nose—no pinching or sliding during playtime.
Available in vibrant transparent colors including Light Blue, Orange, Red, and Green, these frames let kids express their personality. The translucent acetate gives each pair a modern, playful look that children actually want to wear. Temple lengths range from 125mm to 130mm across three lens sizes (39mm, 41mm, and 43mm), so you can find the right fit as your child grows.
These frames arrive with demo lenses that your optician will replace with your child’s prescription. Each pair includes a protective case and cleaning cloth. The full-rim design provides a secure hold for prescription lenses, and the sturdy construction means these frames can handle being tossed in a backpack or left on the playground without falling apart.
Parents appreciate the value. Ray-Ban Junior frames deliver the same build quality as adult Ray-Bans, scaled down for smaller faces. The oval shape works well for a variety of face shapes, and the single-bridge design keeps the look clean and uncluttered—perfect for kids who are new to wearing glasses.
