The Miraflex BabyPlus42 eyeglasses bring Italian engineering and child-focused safety together in a prescription-ready frame designed for kids ages 4 to 7. These oval full-rim frames feature a 42mm eye size and 14mm bridge, sized specifically for growing faces and built to handle the energy of childhood.
Made in Italy from a soft, flexible plastic material, the BabyPlus42 frames are virtually unbreakable under normal wear. The single-piece construction has no metal parts, no hinges, and no screws—eliminating the sharp edges and small pieces that can cause injury or become choking hazards. The frame material is BPA-free, latex-free, rubber-free, and hypoallergenic, making it safe for sensitive skin and all-day wear.
The anatomically designed bridge distributes weight across a larger surface area, so the frames sit comfortably without the need for nose pads. This is a significant advantage for young children, as nose pads are a common source of discomfort and pressure marks. The soft, adjustable elastic headband wraps behind the head to keep the glasses centered and secure during play, sports, and everyday activities.
Parents consistently report that Miraflex frames hold up remarkably well. One reviewer noted the frames are “so light and flexible, he’s never fought wearing them,” while another shared that after multiple pairs, “they’ve definitely withstood the test of time.” Optical professionals recommend them specifically for children under 4 and for older kids who are tough on their glasses.
The BabyPlus42 is fully prescription-ready and can accommodate a wide range of prescriptions when paired with the right lenses. Available in 22 vibrant colors—from Navy Blue and Burgundy Pearl to Clear Gray and Lavender—there’s a style to match every child’s personality. Each pair comes ready to be fitted with prescription lenses by your optician.
These frames are designed for kids who need reliable, comfortable eyewear that won’t break during rough play, won’t irritate delicate skin, and won’t slip off during active moments. The BabyPlus42 delivers on all three.
