Built as a full-rim rectangular shape, the JBC Parsec uses cellulose acetate. The fit is cut for adult men. The 53-17-140 figures put the lens at 53 mm with a 17 mm bridge and 140 mm arms. The straight top and bottom lines cut against a rounder face.
The rim closes fully around the lens. A single bar runs across the nose. Acetate takes colour through the material rather than on top of it. The colourway is Indigo, blue frame.
